Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2025, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 13.0% compared to 2024, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.2%.

Lithuania ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 28.1% (from 19.6% in 2020).
