Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2024, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age increased by 17.4% compared to 2023, reaching 16.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.9%.

Lithuania ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.1% (from 11.9% in 2019).
