At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 11.7% compared to 2018, reaching 17.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Luxembourg ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.5% (from 16.3% in 2014).
