Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2015, Luxembourg's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 4.0% compared to 2014, reaching 6.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 29.7%.

Luxembourg ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 63.7% (from 3.8% in 2010).
