Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Luxembourg's unemployment by sex and age increased by 13.0% compared to 2022, reaching 5.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.1%.

Luxembourg ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.1% (from 5.6% in 2018).
