Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2022, Luxembourg's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 13.2% compared to 2021, reaching 4.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.2%.

Luxembourg ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.4% (from 5.5% in 2017).
