Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2014, Malta's main indicators increased by 26.2% compared to 2013, reaching 4.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Malta ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2046.6% (from 0.2% in 2009).
