Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2014, Portugal's main indicators increased by 14.8% compared to 2013, reaching 29.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Portugal ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.9% (from 24.4% in 2009).
