Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2019, Malta's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 10.4% compared to 2018, reaching 29.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 31.7%.

Malta ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 40.1% (from 21.2% in 2014).
