Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2020, Malta's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 3.7% compared to 2019, reaching 30.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.8%.

Malta ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 42.6% (from 21.6% in 2015).
