Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2021, Malta's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.2% compared to 2020, reaching 32.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 33.6%.

Malta ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 45.2% (from 22.1% in 2016).
