Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2025, Malta's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 3.9% compared to 2024, reaching 37.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 36.9%.

Malta ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.4% (from 30.8% in 2020).
