Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2024, Malta's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 9.3% compared to 2023, reaching 36.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 36.1%.

Malta ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.2% (from 29.7% in 2019).
