At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.5% compared to 2023, reaching 13.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.3%.

Netherlands ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 13.6% in 2019).
