At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 10.2% compared to 2009, reaching 9.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Netherlands ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.5% (from 10.6% in 2005).
