At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2017, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.1% compared to 2016, reaching 13.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Netherlands ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 38.9% (from 9.5% in 2012).
