At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2016, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.5% compared to 2015, reaching 12.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Netherlands ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.5% (from 10.8% in 2011).
