Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2013, Netherlands's main indicators increased by 0.7% compared to 2012, reaching 4.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Netherlands ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.5% (from 3.6% in 2008).
