Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2006, Poland's population change increased by 3.2% compared to 2005, reaching 9.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.3.

Poland ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 9.6 in 2001).
