Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2007, Poland's population change increased by 4.1% compared to 2006, reaching 10.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.4.

Poland ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.7% (from 9.3 in 2002).
