Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2007, Slovakia's population change increased by 1.0% compared to 2006, reaching 10.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.4.

Slovakia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.3% (from 9.5 in 2002).
