Government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data

In 2010, Poland's government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data increased by 8.0% compared to 2009, reaching 53.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 80.4%.

Poland ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.5% (from 46.5% in 2005).
