Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2025, Poland's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex decreased by 6.3% compared to 2024, reaching 15.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.9%.

Poland ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.8% (from 17.0% in 2020).
