Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2025, Lithuania's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex increased by 1.9% compared to 2024, reaching 26.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.9%.

Lithuania ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.3% (from 24.5% in 2020).
