Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Poland's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 14.6% compared to 2009, reaching 6.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Poland ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 160.7% (from 2.5% in 2005).
