Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 17.8% compared to 2009, reaching 7.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Czechia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 98.7% (from 3.8% in 2005).
