Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2021, Poland's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 5.7% compared to 2020, reaching 17.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.8%.

Poland ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 28.7% (from 13.3% in 2016).
