At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Portugal's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.4% compared to 2013, reaching 15.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.2%.

Portugal ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.9% (from 20.1% in 2009).
