Population structure indicators at national level

In 2014, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.2% compared to 2013, reaching 43.1.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 42.5.

Portugal ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 40.8 in 2009).
