Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2014, Romania's main indicators increased by 4.0% compared to 2013, reaching 24.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Romania ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.1% (from 22.2% in 2009).
