Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Portugal's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 0.3% compared to 2006, reaching 34.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.9%.

Portugal ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.3% (from 33.8% in 2002).
