At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Romania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 10.0% compared to 2013, reaching 25.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Romania ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.3% (from 21.2% in 2009).
