Population structure indicators at national level

In 2005, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.3% compared to 2004, reaching 35.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.6.

Romania ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 34.4 in 2000).
