Population structure indicators at national level

In 2014, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2013, reaching 40.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 42.5.

Romania ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.7% (from 40.1 in 2009).
