Population structure indicators at national level

In 1996, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.0% compared to 1995, reaching 20.6.

Romania ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.2% (from 18.2 in 1991).
