Population structure indicators at national level

In 1997, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 1996, reaching 20.8.

Romania ranks 20th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.5% (from 19.0 in 1992).
