Population structure indicators at national level

In 1998, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.9% compared to 1997, reaching 21.2.

Romania ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.3% (from 19.4 in 1993).
