Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2017, Romania's main indicators decreased by 2.3% compared to 2016, reaching 24.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 18.4%.

Romania ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.1% (from 22.8% in 2012).
