Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2016, Romania's main indicators increased by 1.0% compared to 2015, reaching 25.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 18.0%.

Romania ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.1% (from 21.7% in 2011).
