Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Romania's main indicators increased by 1.5% compared to 2021, reaching 24.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 23.0%.

Romania ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.9% (from 24.5% in 2017).
