Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Austria's main indicators decreased by 1.7% compared to 2021, reaching 34.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 23.0%.

Austria ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.8% (from 33.1% in 2017).
