Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2018, Romania's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.1% compared to 2017, reaching 17.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 30.7%.

Romania ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.1% (from 15.6% in 2013).
