Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2019, Romania's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 3.4% compared to 2018, reaching 18.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 31.7%.

Romania ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.7% (from 15.9% in 2014).
