Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2020, Romania's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.6% compared to 2019, reaching 18.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.8%.

Romania ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.7% (from 17.2% in 2015).
