At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2020, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 9.2% compared to 2019, reaching 9.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.0%.

Slovakia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 69.6% (from 5.6% in 2015).
