At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.7% compared to 2022, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Slovakia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.2% (from 12.3% in 2018).
