At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.9% compared to 2022, reaching 14.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.4%.

Slovakia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.5% (from 12.2% in 2018).
