At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.1% compared to 2023, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Slovakia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.6% (from 11.6% in 2019).
