At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.3% compared to 2022, reaching 13.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.4%.

Poland ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.5% (from 14.6% in 2018).
