At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.3% compared to 2023, reaching 8.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Czechia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.7% (from 8.1% in 2019).
